What I’m Listening To – 07/12/11

Since I got rid of XM, I’ve been listening to local radio stations in the car.. As a result, this week’s music picks are more Top 40. And there’s nothing wrong with it, I have a ton of pop music on my iPod, and I’ll readily admit that I like Katy Perry. Sometimes you just want some fun tunes to brighten up your day, and hopefully these tracks will do the trick for you!

Foster The People – Pumped Up Kicks

Foster The People has such an interesting sound, and people really seem to be enjoying their stuff. Pumped Up Kicks has been killing it (#26 on iTunes, over 10 million views on YouTube, etc), and their other videos are equally engaging. I think we’re going to be hearing a lot more from them in the coming months.
