The World’s Most Beautiful Cars According To MSN
What makes a car beautiful? Is it flowing lines, pleasing proportions, a clear identity, a strong sense of character, exquisite details — or a mixture of all of the above?
Marc Lachapelle of MSN Autos recently did a piece about “The World’s Most Beautiful Cars”, and it’s interesting to say the least. They looked far and wide to choose the most beautiful production cars of the last few years, and agonized over a list of 10 standouts.
Here’s what they came back with:
- Alfa Romeo 8C Spider
- Aston Martin DBS
- Audi R8 Spyder
- Audi RS5
- Bentley Continental GT
- Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
- Hyundai Elantra
- Jaguar XK Coupe
- Maserati GranCabrio
- Volkswagen CC
Now as you can see, someone was smoking some crack when they put together this list, because the Elantra, CC, and RS5 don’t belong on this list. They’re all good cars in their own right, but Most Beautiful? Hardly..
The Maserati is one of the sexiest cars on the list, and should be ranked much higher up. Where’s the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4? And why aren’t there any American cars representing? How about the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe or the Dodge Viper?
What do you think?

I think MSN’s list focused only on cars produced in the past few years.. But if we’re looking back over the history of the cars, the Diablo definitely would make my list!
