The USSV Rhino XT Is A Military-Grade SUV Built For The Streets
One of the trucks that caught our attention at SEMA this year was the Rhino XT from US Specialty Vehicles. Built on a mechanically stock Jeep Wrangler Unlimited platform and drivetrain, the USSV Rhino XT bears a striking resemblance to the Hummer HX concept that never was.
The Rhino XT features a highly aggressive look thanks to its massive riveted flared fenders, rugged bumpers, designer tow hooks, reinforced FRP body panels, and a heavy-duty roll cage. Inside, you will find premium leather seats, leather-trimmed door panels, an Alpine navigation system, a 3D-look digital instrument panel, and a back-up camera, among other enhancements.
Under the hood is a 3.6L V6 engine that puts out 285HP, and it’s mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. That should give this all-terrain vehicle plenty of get up and go.
Want one? USSV is taking reservations now, with a starting price of around $75,000.
