The Latest ‘Bad Boys For Life’ Trailer Is Full Of Car Chases And Explosions

Everyone’s favorite Miami cops are back for one last ride in Bad Boys for Life, the long-awaited third installment of the Bad Boys franchise. And while the first trailer gave us a taste of what to expect from the latest movie, this latest trailer dials up the excitement to 11.

In true Jerry Bruckheimer fashion, the movie features over-the-top car chases, explosions, and general mayhem as we watch half of Miami get blown up. But hey, that’s what Bad Boys has always been about. Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) is even driving a Porsche 911, just a much newer one. The first movie is what started my love affair with Porsches, so it’s only fitting.

Martin Lawrence reprises his role as Marcus Burnett, who keeps complaining that he’s “too old for this shit” (reminiscent of Murtaugh in Lethal Weapon) as they work to bring down a group of drug traffickers in the city, The dynamic between the two is as great as ever, and my guess is that this “one last time” case might spawn another sequel if it does well at the box office.

Considering that the ruthless Armando Armas and his team of bad guys are coming at the Bad Boys with everything they’ve got (machine guns, rockets, etc), it makes you wonder why they didn’t stop by the LAPD and each pick up a tactical plate carrier to protect themselves from all the bullets flying their way.

Regardless, Bad Boys For Life looks like an absolute blast (literally), and I can’t wait till it hits theaters on January 17, 2020.
