The Brooklyn Bedding Mattress Really Is The #BestMattressEver
A few months ago, I finally decided to pull the trigger on a new mattress. My old mattress was nearly 13 years old, and while it was amazing for the first part of life (a luxurious double-sided pillow top that was like sleeping on a cloud), it was really starting to show it’s age.
The last time I was in the market for a mattress, I just went to a bunch of mattress stores, laid on a bunch of beds, and said “I’ll take this one!” It wasn’t very scientific, but it worked..
This time around, I went online and read countless mattress reviews to try and narrow down my search. And a name that kept coming up was Brooklyn Bedding, an online factory direct mattress manufacturer that’s so confident you’ll love their mattress that they offer a 120-night in-home trial. If you are not happy with it, they’ll pick it up and give you a full refund.
When I purchased my last mattress in 2003, I had two options: spring coil or memory foam. Today, there are a variety of mattress options to choose from. Brooklyn Bedding’s mattress are made up of 2″ of Talalay Latex, 2″ of Dunlop Latex, followed by 6″ of High Density Convoluted Poly Foam. The mattress sleeps cool, contours to the shape of your body, minimizes motion transfer, and it’s also great for various bedroom activities.
After reading literally HUNDREDS of positive reviews online (they have a 4.9 out of 5 star rating on Amazon), I decided to pull the trigger on a Brooklyn Bedding mattress. They have three firmness levels to choose from (Soft, Medium and Firm). I had planned on going with their Soft mattress, but after learning that the majority of their customers (90% or more) go with the Medium firmness, I decided to go that route instead.
UPS delivered the mattress to my doorstep, arriving in a 19″×40″×46″ box. How’s that possible, when a King bed measures 76″×80″×10″? The 110 pound mattress is compressed and rolled into a small box, expanding into it’s full-size once you remove it from it’s packaging. I had planned on taking a video of the mattress “inflating”, but it happened so quickly that it caught me off guard.
While the mattress took shape within minutes, we decided to wait a full day before sleeping on it so that the mattress could fully flatten out. There was also a bit of latex smell, so this gave the mattress time to air out.
So what’s the verdict? Brooklyn Bedding’s mattress completely exceeded my expectations, giving me some of the best nights sleep that I can remember. In my opinion, it really is the #BestMattressEver. If you are in the market for a new mattress, you should definitely check out Brooklyn Bedding!

Thanks Sujeet. It’s really hard to find proper info about mattresses. You really cleared up a lot of things for me. If you have a recommendation for pillows, I’d be willing to listen to that as well.
