Super Bowl LIX Ticket Prices Are Sky-High For Eagles-Chiefs Rematch
Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs both clinched their Championship Games, earning them a spot at Super Bowl LIX, which takes place in New Orleans on February 9th. This would be the second time in 3 years that these two are facing off in The Big Game, and tickets are definitely more expensive than in years past!
How expensive, you might ask? As of this morning, the cheapest “get-in” tickets (worst seats in the house) are a whopping $6,953, while 100-Level Sideline tickets are between $12K-$28K.
Now, as a former ticket broker, I can tell you that Super Bowl ticket prices tend to swing wildly in the weeks leading up to the game, sometimes going even higher as inventory dries up, and sometimes coming down as demand wanes.
Below is a breakdown of current Super Bowl LIX ticket prices from one ticket broker:
Stadium Section | “Get-In” Ticket Price | Median Ticket Price | High Ticket Price |
---|---|---|---|
600 Level End Zone | $6,953 | $7,586 | $8,582 |
600 Level Corners | $6,695 | $8,028 | $8,852 |
600 Level Sidelines | $8,028 | $8,858 | $10,394 |
500 Level | $7,827 | $8,903 | $10,354 |
300 Level End Zone | $8,703 | $9,059 | $10,797 |
300 Level Corners | $9,156 | $10,558 | $14,419 |
300 Level Sidelines | $10,558 | $14,434 | $19,378 |
200 Level | $10,042 | $17,509 | $24,914 |
100 Level End Zone | $8,961 | $10,468 | $12,359 |
100 Level Corners | $10,011 | $11,073 | $12,182 |
100 Level Sidelines | $11,911 | $15,502 | $28,377 |
As much as I’d love to watch the Eagles take down the Chiefs in NOLA, I expect ticket prices to remain on the higher side, and I just don’t have the budget for that. So instead, I’m purchasing a TCL 98-Inch QM7 QLED and will enjoy the game from home.
Go Birds!
