Starwood Motors’ Project Jeep: Nomad Can Handle Anything You Throw It’s Way
Face it, Jeep Wrangler owners love the outdoors, and they want to have the kind of freedom to experience it without being dependent on hotels and restaurants. Starwood Motors’ Project Jeep: Nomad addresses this desire head on and provides that untethered ability.
The Nomad build begins with a Jeep Rubicon Unlimited and builds on it’s already impressive trail capabilities with a Teraflex long arm suspension system, Fox shocks / steering stabilizer, Anti Rock sway bars, axle trusses and axle sleeves, RCV Axles, G2 5.13 gears, and ARB differential covers. Needless to say, no trail will be too tough for this “trail rated” Jeep.
The Nomad comes equipped with a Smittybilt Overland rack which includes a top mounted tent, a Smittybilt generator, and a ARB portable fridge/freeze, ensuring that you can spend the night no matter where you end up. Other important features include full front & rear LED lighting, custom compartments in rear side windows for fuel / fresh water cans, and a Warn Dual Powerhouse winch (compressor and winch).
The result is a vehicle that can not only go pretty much anywhere, but can set up shop for the night and put a comfy roof over your head, too. If that’s not the very definition of freedom from the road, I don’t know what is. The price of this freedom? A not so paltry $107,888.
