Review: Fleshlight Original and Fleshlight Blade

Fleshlight products are male masturbation toys disguised as a flashlight for discreet storage. Invented back in 1995, the Fleshlight has sold over four million units, and it has become the undisputed #1-selling male sex toy in the world – Primarily because of how well it simulates the real thing.

The soft, flexible Fleshlight sleeve is made from Super Skin™, a material closely resembling the feel and resiliency of the human body. The sleeves are molded in the shape of either a vagina, mouth, or butt, and the inner canal is available in a variety of textures and diameter sizes, offering a wide range of combinations.

For my first foray into the world of Fleshlights, I went with the Fleshlight Original and the Fleshlight Blade.

The Fleshlight Original is what started it all. I remember people on some forum talking about them probably 10 years ago, and the concept just seemed so strange to me. But person after person kept coming back and saying how great it was. Since I was in a long-term relationship at the time, I never gave it much thought. But since I’ve been in a bit of a rut lately, I figured there was no better time than now to try it out.

As you can see in the video below, there’s a bit of prep time involved when choosing to use the Fleshlight, it is not something you can use at the spur of the moment. But it’s definitely worth the extra effort, that’s for sure!!

One of the cool features of the Fleshlight is the adjustable cap at the bottom of the Fleshlight, which allows you to control the amount of suction you’re experiencing, and allowing for some variety in your wanking sessions.

In addition, you can purchase other sleeves, which allow you to experience new and different sensations. Available sleeves include the Wonder Wave, Speed Bump, Super Ribbed, Super Tight, and Vortex.

The Fleshlight Blade doesn’t even try keeping up the pretense that it’s a “flashlight”. As you can see, it’s unlike anything you’ve seen before. The magic of the Blade is a squeezable hilt-shaped case, along with a new sharply intense texture, giving you control like never before. I appreciated the fact that I could change the pressure of the Blade at will, simply by squeezing the case harder.

On the flip side, it was a real PITA getting the sleeve to fit in the case, taking quite a bit of manipulation to get it in there. Furthermore, the other sleeves aren’t compatible with the Blade, meaning that you’re stuck with this texture for now (though it’s possible more Blade-compatible sleeves will be released in the future).

The Verdict:
Of the two units, I preferred the Original Fleshlight. But everyone’s tastes are different, and that’s why Fleshlight offers such a variety. From the original Fleshlight to the the pornstar-affiliated Fleshlight Girl products, there’s sure to be a Fleshlight just right for you!
