Peacock Drops Explosive Trailer For Twisted Metal Season 2

Peacock has just unleashed a gnarly teaser trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Twisted Metal, the high-octane action comedy adaptation of the iconic video game series, and it looks freaking awesome!

As you can see in the trailer, you can expect even more chaos, explosions, and dark humor as the series ramps up the stakes with a fresh set of twists and turns. Following the revelations in the season finale, John Doe and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by Calypso. As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.

During a recent interview with Esquire to talk about all of his upcoming projects, Anthony Mackie spoke about Twisted Metal Season 2, revealing when the show wrapped filming while also highlighting what fans can expect to see from the second season:

“We just finished it. We shot it in Canada and we blew up a lot of s–t. Every day we blew something up. There were days where the police would come out and be like ‘Y’all can’t blow this up’ and we would wait for them to leave and we would blow it up anyway. It was insane. We blew up people, we blew up houses, we blew up cars. Just know some s—t’s gonna get blown up in season two it was a blast.”
