Nosgoth Launches Into Open Beta Today On Steam

Square Enix and Psyonix have announced that Nosgoth, the highly anticipated free-to-play competitive team based multiplayer game, launches into Open Beta worldwide today on Steam! To celebrate this milestone, double XP will be given to everyone who plays during the Open Beta.

A new trailer showing in-depth asymmetrical gameplay played by fans from the Nosgoth community has been released to mark the occasion and can be seen above. See some of the most engaged users take on the roles of both Vampire and Human, tearing their opponents to shreds in Nosgoth’s dark and brutal world based off of the Legacy of Kain series.

“We are incredibly passionate about the Nosgoth community and we wanted to highlight this in our Open Beta Launch trailer which was made in conjunction with actual players” said Corey Davis, Game Director. “The community is at the core of the game and it is humbling to have such a vibrant and supportive fan-base and put these players’ front and center of our campaign.”

The launch of Open Beta is just the beginning. Nosgoth will continue to expand with new content coming soon, starting with the Summoner, a new Vampire class who call on the powers of the Underworld to command ravenous ghouls. This will soon be followed by exciting new updates such as the next Human class and new Vampire city map. Plus a new game mode, new character skins, league rankings, crafting, gifting & trading, observer tools and more.
