Nissan Sport Sedan Concept Debuts At Detroit Auto Show
For the past 80 years, Nissan has differentiated itself from its competitors by excelling in design – along with performance, innovation and technology. Now, those same principles can be seen in the all-new Nissan Sport Sedan Concept that debuted at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The Sports Sedan Concept embodies next-generation Nissan design signatures, including the new V-Motion front aspect, distinctive “floating” roof and boomerang-shaped lamps. The concept model is a rare execution of a 4-door sedan with the aura of a real sports car and it previews a future production vehicle that is intended for owners with a passion for cutting-edge design and innovative driving dynamics.
While it’s low, wide stance and custom 21-inch aluminum-alloy wheels probably won’t make it into production, many insiders believe that we’re looking at the next generation Maxima. And if that’s the case, then they’re about to reclaim the 4-door sports car market that they helped pioneer in the 80s.
The Sports Sedan Concept certainly stood out in Detroit, and you can see video from the reveal here:
