New Video Game Releases : 02/07/12
We’re back this week with another batch of new video game releases! While not nearly as big as last week’s titles, there are still some good games here worth picking up.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a single player Action Role-playing Game (RPG) set in the brand-new game fantasy universe of Amalur. The game features an expansive Open World game environment, the unique “Destinies” system that limits character development only by the combination of equipped spells and items carried, intuitive yet challenging combat, a robust crafting system and a range of special attacks. Additional features include: the written and design talents of R.A. Salvatore, Todd McFarlane and Ken Rolston; dramatic special and metered attacks; as well as multiple in-game races.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
The Darkness II is an intense first person shooter that delivers a twisted and gripping narrative of tragedy, modern crime drama, and supernatural horror. Sequel to the critically acclaimed 2007 release, The Darkness, The Darkness II is inspired by the popular comic book series produced by Top Cow Productions, Inc. The game features a distinctive art style, quad-wielding weapons/demonic skill abilities and a co-op multiplayer mode.
The Darkness II is available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Resident Evil: Revelations is a Mature rated Survival-Horror game exclusively for play on Nintendo’s 3DS handheld game system. Revelations is the first complete Resident Evil game released for 3DS. It contains an all-new story set within the overall franchise chronology, familiar and new characters, a new kind of enemy and virus, a multiplayer option, and 3DS specific gameplay functionality. Additional features include: the new Raid Mode, in-game area scanning abilities, a Circle Pad Pro control scheme, an optional first-person shooter view, and outstanding 3DS visuals.
Resident Evil: Revelations is available for the Nintendo 3DS.
