Lewis Hamilton Suits Up For His First Day At Ferrari

Last February, F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton stunned fans when he announced that he would be driving Scuderia Ferrari for the 2025 season on a multi-year contract. As you might know, Hamilton has raced with Mercedes since the 2013 season and has won six of his seven world titles with the team.

So why leave now? After two challenging seasons, with the Silver Arrows struggling to adapt to F1’s latest ground effect era and dropping behind Red Bull, Hamilton decided that it was time for a change, a move he called “one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make”.

This means Hamilton will link up with Charles Leclerc, who recently agreed an extension with the Scuderia “beyond 2024”, while Carlos Sainz was given his walking papers.

Now, nearly a year after sealing the deal, Lewis Hamilton arrives in Maranello for his first day as a Ferrari Driver, where he toured the Ferrari factory, met employees and paid a visit to the Tifosi. As you can see, he certainly dressed the part, rocking an Italian double-breasted suit and matching overcoat.

The 2025 Formula 1 season kicks off March 14-16 at the Australia Grand Prix, and the whole world will be watching to see how Hamilton does behind the wheel of a Ferrari.
