Introducing The All-Electric 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ 3-Row SUV
Cadillac continues to aggressively expand their electric vehicle portfolio, with the upcoming 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ marking the 5th EV in the brand’s lineup!
Slotted between the Cadillac LYRIQ and Cadillac ESCALADE IQ, the VISTIQ is a distinctive and innovative luxury three-row SUV that delivers on the brand’s promise of performance, tech, and craftsmanship. Designed for the modern family, it’s perfectly sized for those that need three rows of seating, but don’t want something quite as big as the ESCALADE IQ.
With the addition of VISTIQ, Cadillac will be one of the only brands to offer an EV offering in every luxury SUV segment. Clearly Cadillac is going all-in on electric vehicles, this despite lackluster sales in the EV space (aside from Tesla). Only time will tell if this ultimately is a good move for the company or not.
On the performance front, VISTIQ’s standard dual motor all-wheel drive system delivers a very powerful driving experience. Standard chassis damping control and available Air Ride Adaptive suspension, combined with GM’s electric drivetrain, contribute to its smooth ride & handling. Another cool feature is available Active Rear Steer, which improves driver maneuverability and turning diameter, making the vehicle feel smaller and more agile.
VISTIQ includes a 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack and offers 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of near-instant torque. Cadillac estimates VISTIQ will offer 300 miles of range.
“From the start, it was our team’s goal to deliver a three-row SUV that provides exhilarating performance and intuitive technology, wrapped in the brand’s iconic design language,” said Jeff MacDonald, North American chief engineer, Cadillac VISTIQ. “Bold, yet refined, the VISTIQ provides a comfortable ride while handling like a much smaller vehicle, delivering a sense of isolated precision.”
Styling wise, we’re digging it. Like the ESCALADE IQ, VISTIQ has a swept-back windshield and Black Crystal Shield grille. The spacious interior seamlessly integrates with the elegant design, inspired by modern architectural contours and structure framework. The vertical banding is reflective of robust features in Brutalist architecture and helps frame elements in the interior, creating more refined lines and offering a balance of sophistication and practicality for modern luxury living.
“VISTIQ continues the Cadillac EV identity, including our signature vertical lamps front and rear, the illuminated pinstripe grille, a 33-inch diagonal high-resolution LED screen, and available 23-inch wheels, rendered in a proportionally stately and functional three-row SUV,” said Bryan Nesbitt, executive director, Global Cadillac Design.
VISTIQ is engineered to provide spaciousness for passengers in all three rows and offers technology that will elevate the luxury experience, including:
- Standard 23-speaker AKG Studio Audio system with Dolby Atmos
- Standard Super Cruise, the industry’s first truly hand-free driver assistance technology (with three years of OnStar connected service)
- 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds with Velocity Max
Like the Hummer EV and others, VISTIQ comes equipped with Vehicle-to-Home Bidirectional Charging capabilities, which when paired with the available GM Energy V2H Bundle, allows for the transfer of electric power from the vehicle and a properly equipped home during a blackout.
Offering features that prioritize safety and security while on the road, VISTIQ offers peace of mind for drivers and passengers alike:
- Standard premium safety and driver assistance technologies include Blind Zone Steering Assist, Side Bicyclist Alert, and Forward Collision Alert.
- Standard OnStar Automatic Crash Response.
- Available Night Vision, enabled by an infrared sensor for driving at night, allowing the driver to see pedestrians or animals directly ahead.
At launch, VISTIQ will be offered in three distinctive trims, Luxury, Sport & Premium Luxury. Coming in summer 2025, VISTIQ will introduce a new Platinum trim, with added performance elements and more interior and exterior color options, allowing customers to choose a vehicle that matches their own personality and preferences.
The all-new 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ has a starting price of $78,790, with the higher trim levels likely breaking into the six-figure range.
