Get Into The World Cup Spirit With These Patriotic Cocktails

If you’re cheering on your World Cup team from home, we’ve got some champion cocktails that are inspired by the flavors of competing country teams. These drinks are the perfect way to get into the viewing spirit.

USA – Freedom Kick

Ingredients:
1½ parts BACARDĺ Superior rum
2 part Lemonade
½ part Grenadine
½ part Blue Curacao

METHOD: Fill glass to top with ice. Then, using the back of a bar spoon slowly add grenadine to the bottom of the glass. Next, pour BACARDI Superior rum and lemonade in a cocktail shaker with ice. Top with the lid of the shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass filled with ice and again using the back of a bar spoon pour blue curacao at the top of the cocktail.

Mexico – The Aguila

Ingredients:
1½ parts BACARDĺ Gold rum
1 part Lime Juice
1 part Agave Nectar
½ part Melon-Flavored Liqueur
½ part Grenadine

METHOD: Muddle mint and the bottom of a tall glass, then fill with ice. Then, using the back of a bar spoon, slowly pour melon-flavored liqueur down the side of the glass so it sinks to the bottom. Pour BACARDI Gold rum, lime juice and agave nectar in a cocktail shaker filled with mint and ice. Then place the lid on the shaker and shake it vigorously. Strain contents into the tall glass and top with a layer of grenadine

Brazil – Caipirianha Cup

Ingredients:
1½ parts BACARDĺ Superior rum
1 part Sweet and Sour
Lime wedges

METHOD: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Then place the lid on top of shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass filled with ice.

Spain – The Reigning Champ

Ingredients:
1 ½ parts BACARDĺ Gold rum
1 part red wine
1 part lemon lime soda
2 orange wedges
1 lime wedge

METHOD: Fill glass ½ way with ice. Then squeeze 2 orange wedges and 1 lime wedge over the ice and drop them into the glass. Pour BACARDI Gold rum, red wine, followed by lemon lime soda and gently stir.

Argentina – The Azul

Ingredients:
1½ part BACARDĺ Superior rum
½ part blue curacao
2 parts lemon lime soda

METHOD: Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour in the BACARDI Superior rum, blue curacao, followed by chilled lemon lime soda and stir.

Germany – German Ginger Brew

Ingredients:
1½ parts BACARDI Gold rum
2 part Ginger Beer
½ part Grenadine
Lemon Garnish

METHOD: Fill highball glass with ice. Pour in the BACARDI Gold rum, grenadine, followed by chilled Ginger Beer.

England – Crown Tea

Ingredients:

1½ parts BACARDI Superior rum
1 part simple syrup
2 parts Earl Grey Tea
1 lemon wedge

METHOD: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Top with lid of the shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into glass with ice. Garnish with lemon.

Nigeria – Green Eagle

Ingredients:
1½ parts Bacardi Superior
1 part sweet and sour mix
2 parts pear nectar
Float sour apple schnapps
Lime wedge

METHOD: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Top with lid of the shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into glass with ice. Float sour apple schnapps and garnish with lime.
