Frontier Airlines Launches Nonstop Flights From Philadelphia To Los Angeles & Austin

Get excited Philly people, because ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines is launching nonstop service this spring from Philadelphia international Airport (PHL) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). The routes, which will begin operating on May 22, will bring Frontier to a total of 30 destinations served nonstop from PHL. To celebrate, America’s Greenest Airline is offering fares as low as $49*.

“Our continued growth at PHL is a win for Philadelphia-area consumers, as we add two of the nation’s top metropolitan areas to the list of destinations they can now travel to affordably and conveniently,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines. “From California, to Texas, to the many other destinations we serve across the United States, Caribbean, and beyond, budget-savvy consumers will be able to do and see more for less this year with Frontier.”

I’ve got family that lives in Los Angeles, so I’m pretty excited about these new routes opening up, as I’m all about saving money. And with direct flights to Austin (currently not available from other carriers), that’s a game-changer as well.

While Frontier has only been operating out of Philadelphia for a handful of years now, they’ve really stepped up their game, offering up flights to tons of destinations without breaking the bank. I can’t wait to see what other routes they’ll add in the future!
