Frontier Airlines Adds 10 New Destinations From Philadelphia
Frontier Airlines will begin nonstop service from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to 10 new destinations in May of 2024. The new routes are in addition to service to Minneapolis, announced in late January. With the new routes, Frontier will serve a total of 39 destinations from PHL and operate an average 44 daily departures this summer, an increase of 47% versus the year prior. To celebrate, Frontier is offering fares as low as $19* and Premium Seat Upgrades starting at $19** on all routes operating from PHL!
“From the Midwest to the East Coast and from Maine to Florida, these new routes span much of the country and represent our continued commitment to growth from PHL,” said Barry Biffle, CEO, Frontier Airlines. “In fact, PHL will see the second largest increase in daily departures on Frontier this summer among our major operational bases.”
“We’re thrilled to make this announcement today with Frontier Airlines as it expands its summer flights out Philadelphia by 47%,” said Atif Saeed, CEO of the Department of Aviation. “The expansion shows that our post-pandemic recovery continues and these ultra low-cost fares will expand market reach and help make travel possible for many more travelers – both Philadelphians who want to explore new destinations and visitors who want to come and experience the great restaurants, amenities and events that Philadelphia has to offer.”
All routes from Philadelphia, both new and existing, are featured within the Frontier Loves Philly Sale.

Frontier is focused on more than low fares. The carrier offers you the ability to customize travel to your needs and budget. For example, you can purchase options a la carte such as Premium Stretch Seating. For a low price, this Premium Economy upgrade option provides extra leg room.
As someone living in Philly, I’m thrilled to see Frontier continuing to increase their footprint here, as the other carriers aren’t exactly cheap. Hopefully this will force the big boys to offer more competitive rates.
