Every Man Needs These Phone Accessories At Some Point In Their Lives
It’s not like someone is going to come by and take away your MAN card if you don’t have these smartphone accessories in your accessory bag (not a purse). But not having them could make the difference between a good day and a really bad one.
Smartphone accessories have become so important that manufacturers are looking for ways to incorporate them into the design of the phone. Google’s first Project Ara modular phone is scheduled to arrive in 2017. It will be preceded by the recently announced Moto Z with Moto Mods: A smartphone designed to take modular accessory cases. Even stand-alone case makers are getting into the game.
But you don’t have to wait for the accessory revolution, it’s already here. Right now, you can walk into a Best Buy and pick up more accessories than you can reasonably use in a lifetime. Here are a few of the ones you are very likely going to need at some point in your life:
A Screen Protector Worthy of a Superhero
Can your screen protector withstand a pocket full of nails, a drop from a bowling ball, and being hit several times with a ball-peen hammer? It’s not like you’re going to encounter any of these threats in the real world. But wouldn’t you like to think your screen could survive these things, just in case?
The best glass screen protector accessories can handle these threats and more. And they are available for purchase right now.
Tempered glass screen protectors may not stop a speeding bullet, or help you leap over a tall building with a single bound. But they’ll keep your screen intact and unharmed when life’s real-world super villains bring all their forces against you.
Absolute Power that Doesn’t Corrupt
Every man could stand to have more power on hand at all times, that can be used for just about anything. I don’t think that sound like too much to ask, right? Mophie certainly doesn’t think so.
They make the Mophie Powerstation in a variety of powerful flavors. You can get the one that allows you to power your smartphone all day, or the one that allows you to DOMINATE THE WORLD.. That is to say, the world of devices you carry with you on trips from smartphones to smart watches, to tablets, to anything else that needs a charge.
After all, the best device in the world will do you no good if it’s out of juice.
A Better Camera, for When a Thousand Words Won’t Do
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. But that is only the value of a great picture. Lousy photos trade for far less. No matter how good the camera is on your smartphone, it is not good enough for baby’s first steps, and… Oh, my god! Is that a Pug on the back of a giraffe being balanced on the beak of a duck? Pictures, or it didn’t happen.
You can go for the iPhone lens kits for under $10. Or you could shell out hundreds of dolloars more for some truly spectacular smartphone shooting. The lens on your camera is pretty good. But it’s not going to replace a stand-alone camera anytime soon. A good smartphone camera accessory can get you most of the way there.
A Smartwatch, Like a Shuttlecraft for Your Smartphone
A desktop is like a shuttlecraft for your mainframe. A laptop is like a shuttlecraft for your desktop. Your tablet is like a shuttlecraft for your laptop. Your smartphone is like a shuttlecraft for your tablet. And now, your smartphone finally has a shuttlecraft. It is the smartwatch you are about to go out and purchase right now.
A smartwatch helps you monitor your smartphones alerts, so you don’t have to pull it out every time it rings. You can see who’s calling right from your wrist. You can dismiss the spam, and address the important email or text by just talking to your smartwatch, depending on the model.
The best smartphone accessories keep your device safe, powered, ready for once-in-a-lifetime photos, and in your pocket.

I have none of these accessories, and don’t feel the need for any of them.

Really? I’ve had Mophie cases for all of my phones since the iPhone 4, and I couldn’t imagine life without one at this point. Expensive, but worth every penny!
