Check Out The Action-Packed Trailer For ‘The Fall Guy’

Universal Pictures just released the trailer for their upcoming movie The Fall Guy, a modern take on the classic ABC series that aired in the early eighties, and it looks freaking awesome!

Directed by former stuntman David Leitch and scripted by Drew Pearce, the film stars Ryan Gosling stars as Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service by his former flame Jody Moreno, played by Emily Blunt, now making her debut as the director of a mega-budget sci-fi Western production.

But thinks take a turn for the more complicated when the movie’s notorious star Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) disappears. Rather than tell the studio what’s going on, the film’s ruthless producer decides to have Seavers fill in for him, doing both the acting and the death-defying stunts. What could go wrong, right?

Now, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.

The stuntman becomes the hero, with The Fall Guy blasting into theaters on May 3, 2024.
