Cadillac ATS Hits The Nurburgring
The 2013 Cadillac ATS meets the world’s most demanding testing ground in this preview of Cadillac’s new web series. “Like” them at facebook.com/cadillac and follow their journey as they challenge their new compact luxury sport sedan on Germany’s unrelenting Nürburgring race track.
Will it challenge the world’s best? They’ll be posting chapters of this behind-the-scenes story in their feed, as well as exclusive ATS photos and insights.
I’m super excited about the ATS. As I’ve written here before, I’m a huge fan of the CTS (especially the CTS-V Coupe), but the ATS should be even better since it’s smaller and lighter. I liken it to the BMW 335i vs 135i comparison. If you’ve driven both cars, you know how much more of a driver’s car the 1-Series is. Especially now in M form.
No word on powertrain or price just yet. Most expect the ATS to start at around $30K. Bring us an ATS-V with the 556HP engine from the CTS-V for under $50K, and I’m there! 🙂
