BMW Concept M4 Coupe Unveiled At Pebble Beach
Yesterday evening, BMW unveiled the BMW Concept M4 Coupe at the BMW opening media reception for the iconic annual Pebble Beach/Monterey automobile weekend.
Rather than calling it the M3 Coupe like they’ve done in the past, they decided to stick with the new model designation they recently rolled out, much to the frustration of M3 purists around the world. Regardless, the M3 DNA remains the same.
While vehicle specifics haven’t been revealed yet, expect the M4 to receive a modest power bump (say 420-450HP), aerodynamic and subtle styling upgrades, meatier rubber to handle the increased power, and a modest price increase to boot.
Many have speculated that the M4 will have an MSRP of around $60K, but I honestly believe that the starting price will be closer to $65K. Add in a few options (like the exclusive Aurum Dust paint color shown here), and the new M4 could easily eclipse $70K.
