Adidas Ultra 4D Blends Classic UltraBOOST Style With Latest Cushioning Tech
Feast your eyes on the new adidas Ultra 4D, which merges the look of the popular UltraBOOST with the innovative FUTURECRAFT 4D midsole cushioning technology to bring us one heck of a sneaker hybrid that is sure to turn heads wherever you go.
The adidas Ultra 4D OG “Black/Purple” pays homage to the original UltraBOOST colorway from 2015, with black and blue-grey woven Primeknit uppers, tonal lace cages and tongue branding, rear black booties and purple heel clips updated with “Ultra4D” lettering.
But the similarities end there. The iconic Boost technology has been swapped out for adidas’ latest and greatest in midsole cushioning technology, FUTURECRAFT 4D, which is made from a process called Digital Light Synthesis. Using light and oxygen to create the intricate unit, it results in the perfect amount of comfort and cushioning with every step.
Sneakerheads have been clamoring for the 4D technology to be used on some of adidas’ more popular silhouettes, including the UltraBOOST, and now our wishes are finally being answered. At $220, these sneakers are on the pricier side, but I have no doubt that they will sell out in record time, if they haven’t already by the time you read this.
