Adidas Introduces First-Ever Hiking Boot With Boost Technology
Over the past few years, we’ve watched as adidas added their Boost technology to pretty much their entire line of products, including an UltraBOOST All Terrain running shoe that can be worn in any and all weather conditions.
But those of us who prefer the comfort and versatility of hiking shoes have been left out.. until now. Adidas has just introduced their new adidas TERREX Free Hiker, a sneaker/boot hybrid that features BOOST technology for endless energy-return cushioning, and built to survive the toughest elements and temperatures.
The adidas TERREX Free Hiker’s water repellent Primeknit upper provides a sock-like comfort and stretches for different foot shapes, even changing as the foot expands on longer hikes. It’s breathable and lightweight (385g), but with the necessary cushioning and long-term comfort you demand on the trails. The shoe flexes naturally with the foot, while protection comes from a mid-cut profile and Continental rubber outsole for grip on any terrain.
Adidas will be dropping these drool-worthy trail-trekkers online and in stores on February 22, with an expected retail price of $200.
