2013 Roush RS Mustang – Roush Treatment For The V6
The 2013 Roush RS Mustang (also known as the ROUSH Six) is Roush’s latest offering, and I really think they’re onto something here!
Using the 3.7L V6 Mustang as a base, the RS offers up the same wheel and tire package from the Mustang GT with the Brembo package, Roush lowering springs, a subtle body kit, embroidered floor mats, billet pedals and plenty of Roush badging. Customers can also opt for additional options like upgraded leather seats or a classic cue ball shifter. The engine remains stock, pushing out 305 horsepower / 280 lb-ft torque, while getting 31 mpg highway.
All this for just $4000! If you don’t go crazy on the options, you can pick up a Roush RS for a little over $26K. Still looking for more power? There are plenty of S/C kits out there that will push performance up to 350-400HP – Just make sure to replace the drive shaft first!

I still can’t get over the fact that today’s 3.7L V6 puts out 305HP stock! My old ’94 GT only put out 215HP, and after extensive modifications, I was putting out 260HP.
The one thing I haven’t been able to get past is the looks/stance of the V6, but this Roush package looks like it’s addressed that issue head on.
