2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo To Start At $21,500
The 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo has been making the rounds on the show circuit, and now we’ve learned how much the Turbo model will cost.
A Hyundai official has stated that the Veloster Turbo will be priced at $21,500 when it goes on sale this summer, commanding a $3500 premium over the base model.
Chew on these specs: A 1.6L four-cylinder engine putting out 201HP and 195 lb-ft of torque, coupled with a six-speed manual or a conventional six-speed automatic. The car will weight between 2800-3000lbs, rocking larger brakes (11.8/10.3), and sporting P215/40VR18 tires.
No word if the matte silver paint job the show car has will make it into production, but here’s hoping! 😀

The Veloster turbo will only put out 200hp? That’s disappointing, even though it’s about 60hp more than it’s n/a sister.
As far as the Matte Gray/Silver (whatever you want to call it) WILL make it into production. I asked a Hyundai rep at the Auto Show and she confirmed that it will be the only Matte finish that the car comes in.

Awesome! I think we’re going to see more and more manufacturers jumping into the matte world, no longer just something reserved for $70K speciality model cars (ie. C63, M3, etc).
